seriously deciding to ditch the bride costume, because to wear a corset when its freezing is a stupid idea. I might end up redoing Alice in Wonderland to be blue! that way I can have long underarmour sleeves so I won't freeze, as well as give me an excuser to buy leg-warmers, wear shorts and black characters. Too bad I already made the veil

Bleh, sitting at home typing yet another trivial thought that fancies itself to flit through my head. I saw Roland last night as I got off from work, and it was odd, I guess I missed seeing him after so long. And he's alive, which is a good thing since I feared the worst, typical me. We hardly see each other anymore, and it kinda bums me out because he's such a nice guy. Even though I guess I'm happy with the social path I chose, even so far along the road, I can't help but look back and maybe what would have happened if I went another direction. What would my life be like if I was part of David's friends? Would I really be more fulfilled? Would I be able to stomach Lizzie Ni? Would I be able to really be friends with Roland or David without being cut out of pictures or forgotten?
I know its too late, and I can't just go back the way I came, so I guess I must keep on the road and eventually reach where I need to go. As Alice in Wonderland once said, "I guess I can't just expect to come up again, so I must keep going forward."

sewing class is a bit sketchy, and I could swear that the teacher is just a tad bit racist. And Amanda's old music teacher called, asking us if we could take in her beloved kitty Newt who keeps slashing her new cat Dubya or "W" to pieces. I wish we could, but then he'd be dicing up our cats, maybe he's a liberal, we don't really know.

today is the day my mom and stepdad leave for vacation, which means they're not gonna be here for a while. In the meantime, I get to visit relatives in new york and try to sew actual things on the sewing machine I got from jennifer. And buy my fabric for my undead bride outfit. and then make the veil and wreath, shred some gloves and get a bouquet together. oh yes, I also have to register for otakon and make my link outfit...

another conditioning, another 3 days of sore ass and thighs, but it s a good soreness. saw the 10th kingdom again, I love camryn manheim as snow white and ann margaret as cinderella. now I can't stand the disney versions because the 10th kingdom ones are powerful, wise, snow white can operate outside her grave and do magic, and cinderella is 200 years old and cranky with a cough. that's personality.
Disney Snow White, skills involve singing, dancing, cooking and cleaning, and is VERY gullible.
versus:
Wise, powerful, magic-using Queen Snow White. Has the ability to move her grave around, can visit people in the living world as various people, can use mirrors and block them, can prophesize and communicate in dreams, can make dead flowers bloom, grant wishes and heal the severely wounded. Also love the fact that she isn't anorexic to show that all women can be beautiful, you don't have to be a stick to win.
Disney Cinderella, skills involve being pretty, has some form of backbone, communicates with mice and birds, cooking and cleaning, and has two castles.
versus:
200 year old, wise and clever Cinderella with a cooler hairdo and tiara, very sarcastic, very powerful, overthrew her sexist husband very quickly and still wears her glass slippers at her old, ancient age. (Imagine what she'll be like once she's dead and operating out of her grave like Snow White...)
