  • My mastery of acrylic painting on wood...

    Behold, Belle cameo. The front beads are using gold paint, same color for lion poles. Aurora, Ariel, and Alice coming soon.

  • Today was fairly interesting. Reading The Picture of Dorian Gray, and
    what a depressing, homoerotic story it is indeed. And I made chocolate
    muffins today, taking some to Mokyi to cheer him up since his
    grandfather died. And I really liked his grandparents too.

  • The hair diagrams for Belle. I hope to have a wig just like this one
    day, it would look so cool with the right ballgown! Now how to make one?

  • reading about Martha Stewart: so much in so little time, blllllaaaaaarrrrrggggghhhhhhh.

  • The Hwa Fy show was uber sketchy. But we made enough money to buy a new
    head and tail for other performances. Yay! And I think I'll be painting
    the poles and maybe making a new Buddha robe.

    Why don't Chinese people have any traditions similiar to Oktoberfest that support the wearing
    ofbusty dresses, wenches, corsets, sausage, sauerkraut and beer all in one cool
    celebration? I mean come on, Japan has a day called Phallus Day?

  •     the weekend shows were good, and now I finally have
    the time to write that they're good in the first place. I need Mokyi to
    fill out the community service forms so i can get SSL hours or I'm up a
    certain creek with no paddle. There's more performances on Saturday and
    Sunday, but I have to skip Sat and Fri and go to Sunday since my
    employer wouldn't be too happy and I might just be sacked. Oh dear.
    Thanks Mokyi for uploading the videos and I will write some more later,
    as I am working on a Chinese poster. And I also need to work on the
    stencils for the lion dance poles too, I have only a few
    ideas.GGGGrrreoeoeoeoeorrrrrrrrrrrrr.
