  • Blast 2007 is over, cry, but we’ll always have the memories. Man, makes me think of the LeeAnn Rimes song, heh heh…

The costumes for the number “Everybody Dance” almost all of them designed by me except for Lizze’s (pink and green-wearing girl)

The costumes, this time with me in the pic, damn I suck at taking pics, wow

    More pics coming soon!

  • Well, I got my apron finished, now I need to make my bodice and hem my pants and I’m set, except i need to find a decent broom somewhere, hmmn….

  • Got Rami’s baggy genie pants done! And dear GOD are they huuge! They’re so poofy it feels like a skirt. Hope he fits them and hope they’re not too long! All that’s left is finish vest, make arm-warmers and fix up karate outift.

  • I got my slippers at last! They are excellent, except one fits just fine while the other is a bit big for my foot, i suppose that one will be falling off a lot.

  • Whee, I get started on Blast costumes soon! And I really need to finish up making my Cinderella rags outfit, even though my glass slippers are coming in the mail soon, I can’t wait!

The shoe in question, pretty neat, no?

Now I need to make a new apron and make my old one into a headscarf, since the new material is already dirtied up as the hem of my white skirt for our horror movie project. Maybe if I have the patience I want to make the blue hair-tie, since I have so much left-over fabric. Now if i have these shoes, should I wear the plain black flats too and keep one in my pocket?

  • Whew, the crazy Chinese New years schedule is over! And now I can relax for a bit, and get back to making my various costumes, and I won’t have to juggle it with Blast! Mok-yi said we did a great job, and we gots good money now! I guess he’ll want those sashes soon.

  • Chinese New Years costume idea!

I have it! Besides making my corset, I decided to make a whole outfit for Chinese new years as well, based off of Cinderella’s peasant outfit, since I love the simplicity. All I need is the black bodice, blue long sleeves, brown cargo pants and boots. I already have boots and pants, all I need now is shirt and bodice. Now, other question, do i need an apron and broom?

The outfit’s motivation, will make the bodice, which seems to be dark brown, oops, but I like black better. I can even use a left-over strip of Buddah robe fabric for my hair-tie, since Cinderella sometimes has a hairbow.

  • Second Buddha robe is all finished and trimmed in silver, in all its pretty princessy pink! Oh god, that was a lot of pink, I had no idea… Anywhoo, the robes are done, time to finish Jimmy’s Gayla outfit, my corset for Chinese new years and then my Ghost Bride dress, and i even got the veil all ready, as well as the flowy back part of my dress.

  • I got the first Buddha robe all finished and trimmed in silver ribbon, as well as hemmed! Now, its time to make the second one, this time in pink, but not hem or trim it in silver yet, as we need to fit it on the dancer. Shoot! I need to get to work on Jimmy’s skirt and corset, and maybe make him a hairbow, but who knows when that will be done, after all, it takes a lot of time to make a bodice and skirt, even if it is a short one…
